Sanskrit - English Words

Sanskrit ( sasktam [ssktm], (Taken from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia ) originally saskt vk, "refined speech"), is a historical Indo-Aryan language and the primary liturgical language of Hinduism, Jainism and Buddhism. Today, it is listed as one of the 22 scheduled languages of India. In western classical linguistics, Sanskrit occupies a preeminent position along with Greek and Latin in Indo-European studies.

While studying this great language, I found so many words with almost same pronunciation and same meaning as in English. So I thought of compiling list of those words. Please feel free to contribute, in the comment section; I will regularly update those words in the list. This is an effort to unite the world. We humans are all brothers are Sisters Earth such a beautiful place has enough resources for everyone, The only missing thing is that we need to get united, we are one, when we say we are one, it create harmony and peace when we say we are different , it just create hate and pain for both. Those who understand enjoy those who do not, just spread hate. Let's accept that there are many ways to do a single thing or even communicate that why there are so many different color flowers around us. Please help to contribute from all other languages as well, Sanskrit is the standard Language with grammar rules as laid by Pini, around the 4th century BCE. Its position in the cultures of Greater India is akin to that of Latin and Greek in Europe and it has significantly influenced most modern languages of the Indian subcontinent,
