D) EPE 6423 QUALITY MANAGEMENT IN EDUCATION SEMESTER DEC 2011 MAC 2012 TEST ONE ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------This test constitutes 30% of the course grade. The test aims at determining how much students have understood the literature related to this module. There are five questions where students are asked to attempt only three. Students are requested to attempt each question correctly and efficiently with good formatting based on the Harvard system of writing convention. Each answer should be between four to six pages in length on A4 size paper. Submit your assignment on or before January 25, 2012. Assignment received after the specified date will not be graded and would be returned to the writers.

1. Write clearly the definition of an organization, the categories of organization and their characteristics. Supplement your answers with examples to enhance understanding of the facts presented.

Apakah birokrasi; Nyatakan sejarah awal birokrasi, penciptanya dan ciri- ciri birokrasi itu.

4. What are the advantages and the disadvantages of bureaucracy as seen by the Max Weber.

Apakah kekuatan and kelemahan birokrasi seperti dilihat oleh penciptanya Max Weber.

5. Management and administration are often perceived as similar in form and functions. Do you agree?
