British Airways Advance Ticketing Rule

Dear Valued Customer, Reference to our previous message dated on 21st of January, 2011, regarding British Airways advance ticketing policy, please be informed the British Airways pays close attention to the date of when the segments have been booked and the issuing/reissue ticketing date. Accordingly, the following must be taken into consideration: In the case of a PNR with no issued ticket (un-ticketed itinerary), if any amendments need to be made to a PNR including British Airways flights, it is quite important to cancel the current PNR and to create a new one. If after issuing a ticket, a passenger requires to amend the itinerary, and in the case of performing the reissue using the Amadeus Ticket changer (ATC); kindly follow the below steps: o o Check fare rules at reissue time and be fully aware of carriers reissue policy. Insert the Virtual Miscellaneous Charge Order (vMCO) number manually in the PNR by OSI element. Example OS BA MPD 1251798961242 Please note that Amadeus will not be liable to any claims that involve: Rebooking segments on the same PNR in the case of un-ticketed itineraries. Any reissue where an agent hasnt checked the fare rules. Missing the OSI item by (vMCO) number in the PNR. For more information, please dont hesitate to contact us. Thank you for your cooperation, Amadeus Egypt Customer Support
