had the same thing and had to access the security tab to change the ownership an d user rights

for both the file and each piece within. did so by going to tools then folder options then to the view tab. the last piece is "use simple file sha ring" if you change that then right click the folder and go properties you will have a security tab on that go to advanced in there the first thing to do is go to the owner tab and higlight administrators then check the box for all files wi thin and apply. you will have to go fully out of properties then back in and to the advanced portion again. this time you change the permissions. at the bottom it will say something about inherit from parent ..... blah blah blah, any way ta ke out the check this will allow you to remove all the current names when the na mes are gone you can either use your log in name or administrator what ever it w ill bring up a screen when you click apply the asks what permisions to allow. ch eckthe first one and all will be checked allowing full access. there is also a b ox at the bottom to apply this to all within the folder your changing.get out of properties and try to delete the whole. if your lucky it will go but if it come s up with a file that cannot be deleted you have to change the securitiy the sam e as the main folder and do this to each file that will not delete. nice thing i s that you dont have to worry bout the file being read only it will delete wheth er it is or not. good luck.
