ENAR's electrical engineering group is manned by experienced design and field engineers having total responsibility of all plant

electrical systems. Electrical systems are developed starting from an existing offtake point such as power supply authority, an existing utility or by incorporating in-plant generation facilities. Additionally, review and modification of third party design is also carried out as per plant's operational requirements. As part of the project execution team and working in close collaboration with the instrumentation, process design and mechanical engineering group, the electrical engineering group oversees supervision of equipment inspection, testing, installation and pre-commissioning works during construction phase and start-up and commissioning activities, thereafter. Basic and Detailed engineering design of Electrical Systems. The scope of activities include alignment drawings: Development of power and control system philosophy Load calculations for design development System short circuit analysis Carrying out equipment and cable sizing Development of single line drawings incorporating all levels of primary and secondary protections as well as adequate system operational redundancy Preparation of wiring connection schematics for equipment start-up sequences and PLC controls. Preparation of area classification and equipment layout drawings for sub-stations and MCC rooms. Preparation of typical installation drawings, schedule of units and cables, etc. Preparation of equipment specifications and data sheets Preparation of route layout drawings for power and control cables Pre-qualification of equipment suppliers / contractors and preparation of enquiry for quotations. Technical and commercial evaluation work. Preparation of BOQs, cost estimates for project budgeting and Man-hour estimates. Coordination with clients & contractors and assisting project manager in contract administration. Supervise project execution at site and monitor works progress Witness Factory and Site acceptance tests for equipment, on behalf of clients Carry out start-up and commissioning activities of electrical system
