Written Report The LTS B-1 did their clean up last Tuesday, July 21, 2011.

There were 10 groupings and each group was assigned to clean different areas. Group 1 was assigned in the Parking area. They were able to pick up the trash that were scattered and they also picked up the dried leaves. Groups 2 and 3 were assigned to the Seva Building. Group 2 took the ground floor while group 3 was assigned to the second floor. Both groups did their job, accordingly. They picked up the trashes found on the corridors. They also checked on every room, making sure that the lights and electric fans were turned off, no trash was found, and the chairs were properly arranged. Aside from all of these, they were also able to check the cleanliness of the Comfort Rooms, picking up trash along the way. Groups 4 and 5 were assigned in different areas of the Park. They were able to pick up the trash left by other people. They picked up garbage found on the grass and the dried leaves. They gathered them and put them in the trash bins. Group 6 s designated area was the New Seva Building. They cleaned the front and the grounds of the building. They arranged the chairs and gathered the trash. Group 7 was assigned to the Old MV. They tended to the plants that were there and removed the weeds. They collected the trash and put them in the trash bins. The Student s longue was cleaned up by group 8. There, they arranged the chairs and picked up the trash lying on the floor and grass. Group 9 was assigned to the yellow bell area. They removed the dried parts of the plants and picked up the dirt in the area and threw them at the proper area. They also removed the withered grass. Group 10 was assigned to the garden. They were able to pick up the dried leaves that were scattered and the plastic wrappers lying around. Over-all the clean-up became a success. Every group accomplished a lot. Although some were just sitting around and observing, it didn t become a hindrance to the success of the activity. Next week, hopefully, everyone will be able to help and show their dedication to the work.
