house mixer) Turn on powered speakers Check audio groups then check each channel and make sure they are un muted according to what is being used (HOP, drums, Keys, Wireless) Check microphones and receivers and while still by soundboard test signals of all wireless mics Change batteries of wireless microphones, then check signals of all other inputs (HOP mics, drum mics, key boards) Setup recording for cd by pressing monitor on cd recorder to ensure you are receiving a signal then load a BLANK cd and press record ( do not press play on cd recorder until message starts) Setup sound downstairs by tuning on board (power button in back of mixer) Find correct channel that carries signal from upstairs and turn on. Then adjust volume appropriately.
