WEB Over GPRS Settings

1. Tap Start button

2. Æ tap Settings
3. Æ tap Connections tab
4. Æ tap Connections button
5. Æ tap Advance
6. Æ then tap Select Networks ( the first tab from the top or the tab that has “automatically connect to
an ISP or private network” )
7. Æ tap New under programs that automatically connect to the internet
8. Enter myGlobe Internet for the connection name (located at the General tab)
9. tap Modem tab
10. tap New
11. enter myGlobe Internet under name of connection
12. select Cellular line GPRS under select a modem then tap next
13. enter internet.globe.com.ph under Access Point Name
14. tap next then leave the Username,password & domain fields blank
15. tap Finish.
MMS Settings For O2-XDA2
1. Tap Start button
2. Tap Settings
3. Tap Connections tab
4. Tap Connections button
5. Tap Advance
6. Then tap Select Networks ( the first tab from the top or the tab that has “automatically connect to an

7. Tap New under programs that automatically connect to the internet
8. enter myGlobe mms for the connection name (located at the General tab)
9. Tap Modem tab
10. Tap New
11. enter myGlobe mms under name of connection
12. select Cellular line GPRS under select a modem then tap next
13. enter mms.globe.com.ph under Access Point Name
14. Tap next then leave the Username,password & domain fields blank
15. Tap Finish then tap ok.
16. Tap Start
17. Tap Programs
18. Tap MMS Composer
19. Tap Tools then Options
20. On the Preferences tab, enter the following:
- select myGlobe mms (or whatever the name of the mms profile that you created) under
Connect Via
- Under the connect to server,select Globe Telecom (if blank leave it as is first) *
- put a Check on Retrieve Messages Immediately
- under size limitations:
a. Sending: 100k
b. Receiving :100k
c. Number of attempts before aborting : 3
- Check Download on Home Network only
21. Tap Servers tab
22. Tap/Select the current profile that is shown,then enter the following:
- Server Name: Globe Telecom
- Gateway: 192.40.100.20
- Server Address: http://192.40.100.22:10021/mmsc
23. Tap Preferences tab again then under the connect to server select Globe Telecom *
24. Tap Ok to finish.
