1. Purchase Solid Edge at the bookstore and install it on your computer. I bought and installed Solid Edge on my PC.

2. Complete activities 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7 in chapter 1 of the Robotics workbook that came with the Boe-Bot kit. Bring your Boe-Bot to the next class. For all activities that include writing a program, include your program listing as part of your homework solution (activities 4) as well as the program output. Activity 1: This activity involves downloading the software-The BASIC Stamp Editor. I downloaded its latest version from the internet. Activity 2: This activity involves installing the already downloaded software- the BASIC Stamp Editor. I installed the software in my PC successfully. Activity 3: This activity involves installing the Basic Stamp 2 (BS2) chip on the Board of Education. It also involves using of batteries, powering on the Boe-Bot, and connecting the Board of Education to PC. I did all of the above mentioned things successfully. Activity 4: This activity involves writing and testing of a program to the Basic Stamp that causes it to send message to PC or laptop. The software also has the ability to display and detect the messages. I downloaded the program to the BS. Activity 5: This activity involves knowing more about the PBASIC commands: DEBUG and END. It also involves how these commands are used by looking them in the BS stamp or manual. I looked in the DEBUG using the BS Editors Help and the BS Manual. Activity 6: This activity involves introducing ASCII code. If DEBUG command is followed with no formatter, BS will read that number as ASCII code. Activity 7:

This activity involves disconnecting the power from the BASIC Stamp and Board of Education when it is done. Its advantages are batteries lasting longer and in future experiments we can built circuits on the Board of Educations or Home Work Boards prototyping areas. ffafsafas
