Nick and Jackson decide to raise Yaks and to make xylophones to pay for college. They sell the Yaks for $425 and they sell the xylophones for $15 each. After a lot of work, they have 7 times more xylophones than Yaks to sell. Unfortunately, in testing the xylophones, Nick got a little too excited playing them and broke one. They go ahead and sell what they have and earn $2,105. How many xylophones and how many Yaks did they sell? When you have the answer, turn it into an ordered pair and go to that location to find the next clue.

The Algebra 1 class is trying to raise money for a supercomputer to do all their math for them so they dont have to do homework anymore. They decide to sell themselves (or rather, their services.) They decide that the best way to make money is to work for other students for an hourly wage- a cheaper wage to do that students homework, and a more expensive wage to dress up as that person and sit in class so that their employer can skip school. Let y be the hourly wage to do another students homework and let x be the hourly wage to impersonate that student. For 5 hours of doing Maxs homework and 3 hours of pretending to be Max in his classes. Kessia earned $87. For 15 hours of doing Camilles homework and 18 hours of dressing up and pretending to be Camille, Sarah earns $387. Whats the hourly wage for the two jobs?
