TENANcy AGREEMENT CONTRACT

Tenancy agreement relating to house No. 229 (main) or Annex Flat no.H/Kaunda. This agreement is made this day BETWEEN

. (Here-in-after called Tenant) AND Mr. Shezongo F. Hangubo (0977780139), C/O Box RW 50294, Lusaka (Here-in-after called Landlord) Whereby it is agreed that the landlord or his appointed agent shall collect/receive money (Rent) in full from the occupant(s)/tenant(s) in the sum agreed upon (monthly rate). The rate would be reviewed annually and affirmatively by both parties (Landlord & Tenant(s)). This rental agreement rate shall be K. payable over three (3) months (1st instance) and payable monthly thereafter in subsequent months (optionally). This is exclusive/inclusive of water & sewerage (metered) and electricity (prepaid). THE LANDLORD HEREBY CONVENANTS WITH THE TENANT(S) AS FOLLOWS: 1. The landlord or his appointed agent or next of kin with or without workman at all material times to enter upon and examine and inspect the condition of the demised premises, for the purpose of examining or effecting any repair works. 2. The occupant(s)/tenant(s) paying rent shall peacefully hold and enjoy the demised premises as a dwelling apartment with the landlords blessing during the tenure of lease forthwith. (i) (ii) The occupant(s)/tenant(s) shall not assign, sublet or part with the demised premises without seeking authority from the landlord or his appointed agent. The notice to vacate or tenancy termination shall be one (1) month served by either parties (landlord and tenant(s)) verbally or in writing forthwith.
