A LIVE HUMAN DETECTING ROBOT FOR EARTHQUAKE RESCUE OPERATION ABSTRACT

The advent of new high-speed technology and the growing computer capacity provided realistic opportunity for new robot controls and realization of new methods of control theory. This technical improvement together with the need for high performance robots created faster, more accurate and more intelligent robots using new robots control devices, algorithms. It deals with alive person detection robot .Robot is based on 8 bit Microcontroller. The Robot control is done with the help of Zigbee module. Here we are using PIR sensor for detecting persons in the Debris in mainly earthquake areas. It is mainly used in the DEBRIS for Earth quake rescue. The Passive infrared sensors are used to sense the alive person which works on the principle of detecting the radiation emitted by the human body. All the above system is controlled by the Microcontroller.The Microcontroller is used to control the motors. It gets the signals from the new drives and advanced control

Zigbee receiver, drives the motors to control the robot moving directions and if the PIR sensors detects any person lying in debris, an acknowledgement is sent to the transmitter which is connected to the PC.
