SCOPE OF HOME ECONOMICS AS APROFESSION INTODUCTION:H.

.eco is the field of study which seeks to help people make choice for improvement of not only their life at home, but can also prepare one for member paid, un paid voluntary work and occupation .H.eco is concern with all that effect immediate person and family living. DEFINTION OF SCOPE:1. H.eco is a rich field, richer in a potential values for developing a function on program than any other field today. 2. Home making is the noblest of all profession because it nature human civilization. The aims of h.eco are enhancement of home making and allied profession & betterment of independent community. So we can talk scope of home economics .we mend that topics we included for being taught is an h.eco classes following are the major subject. 1. Food, nutrition, cookery 2. House hold management 3. Textiles, clothing, laundry 4. Child development and mother crafts 5. Human relation ship

 FOOD:Food refers to anything solid or liquid which can being swallowed is digested in the body and keeps it well.

NUTRITION:Is the science of food .It can be define as food at work in body. In it we study various processes where by the organisms ingests, digest, absorb, transport, and utilizes nutrients and disposes of their end products.

COOKERY:Cooker is something more than a science. It is an art. It deals with the preparation of the various type of food. It requires good deals of practice so as to achieve a high quality of product with proper use of time, money and material. In this section of the syllabus the student learn about 1. Personal family and community food needs. 2. Planning preparing and service of nutrition foods. 3. Food habits and practices. 4. Table manners and service. 5. Food production, conservation and preservation. 6. Food for special occasion and food for special categories of individual .for e.g. the infants, the sick, the old, pregnant women etc. 7. Different type of cooking. 8. Handling various types of kitchen equipment.

HOUSE HOLD MANAGEMENT:In it we deal with the administrative aspect of living. By its study the students develops an appreciation of management in the economical use of money, time and energy.

It is expected that a student of h.eco acquires a basic knowledge of the following. 1. Process of management. 2. House hold arithmetic. 3. Family resources budget and financial management. 4. Work simplification techniques. 5. Family composition and marketing. 6. Safety and sanitation hygiene including ventilation and lighting. TEXTILE , CLOTHING & LAUNDRING:Cloths not only protect us from the vagarious of nature but they are also an assist of our personality. A proper knowledge of textile, clothing and laundry develops aesthetic, hygienic and economic values. 1. Appropriate clothing for different individual on the bases of individual test and the seasons. 2. Laundering and storage of clothing. 3. Preparing the clothing. 4. Opportunities of serving machine or tailoring, needle work, embroidery etc. 5. Washing and cleaning cloths. 6. Use and care of fabric. 7. Designing of garments appropriate for different occasions. CHILD DEVELOPMENT AND MOTHER CRAFTS:The knowledge child development and mother crafts is quiet use full to would be mothers. HUMAN RELATION SHIP:In family the human relationship began by the processes of interaction b/w its member and house wife is the chief articles in the foundation of this social relation ship. To perform this role it is essential to the house wife to be social. The student of h.eco are taught about individual group relation, leases time activities and social responsibilities, spiritual and moral values.
