Applications are invited for the position of Administrative Officer, NACO purely on contractual basis. The qualifications /experience required for the post are as given below: At least a University degree at a Graduate or equivalent level, post graduate degree/ diploma will be preferred; At least 6 years experience in the administration in the administrative work, experience in the project funded by/with international donors would be preferred; Or Recently retired officer of the Central Secretariat Services having the vast experience in the ethos of Central Secretariat and held regular post in the scale of Rs 10,000 -15,200 /Rs 8000 13500/- (pre revised) or equivalent revised pay band + grade pay or above scales, with at least 5 years experience in the administration and management. Experience in the project funded by/with international donors would be preferred. Application should have adequate knowledge of working in IT friendly environment & working in computers with Window (MS Office) and internet.

Terms of Reference Responsible for entire gamut of HR/personnel administration matters relating to all contractual personnel in NACO including monitoring of vacancies, recruitment, selection, induction, training and development, performance appraisal, welfare, grievance handling and counseling, administration activities, records maintenance, records management, court cases. Assisting States/UTs AIDS Control Societies in all HR/personnel administration matters. Matters relating to personnel of DAPCU in respect of staff sanctioned monitoring of vacancies, appointment, remuneration etc. Assisting NACO in policy matters relating to HR/ personnel administration. Plan, develop and implement strategy for HR management and development. Monitor, measure and report of HR issues, opportunities and development plans to the controlling officer. Liaise with other functional/departmental heads to understand all necessary aspects and needs of HR development and to ensure that they are fully informed of HR objectives, purpose and achievement. Maintain awareness and knowledge of latest HR development theory and methods and provide suitable advice to NACO. Assisting Administration Section and Procurement Division in discharging of their function as and when assigned with such duties. Any other work that may be assigned by the Controlling Officer.

Other conditions: Age: Not more than 62 yrs as on date Remuneration: Rs 28,750 50,000/- pm.
