Terms and Conditions

Fees Per Hourly Rate
$80 to $100 Per Hour Per Artist with a 1 Hour Minimum based on how many hours/type of event. Call or email to get your hourly rate. One Artist can paint approximately 6 to 10 faces per hour depending on the intricacy of the designs that are chosen. Please note, this fee covers 1 design per person. If you require more than 1 design per person or larger more intricate designs, please be descriptive on the Face Painting / Body Art Contract Form. Be sure to book your time accordingly to avoid leaving anyone out. PLEASE do not ask us to disappoint any guests due to lack of time booked. Sometimes we have an event booked right after yours and we may not be able to stay past stop time contracted here. If you exceed the time booked and we are available to stay, it will be charged in half hour increments. Client will pay for the time booked plus overrun, even if Client has delayed the time we start the actual painting. All charges are due on the day of the event before the artist commences. Client must pay for a minimum of 1 hour even if Client uses Artists for less than 1 hour. destructive, violent, or extreme inappropriate behaviour of a child, pet or adult; illegal activities; or otherwise dangerous conditions.

Liability Statement
While we use ONLY FDA approved cosmetic grade face painting supplies, Artist is not liable for allergic reactions to paints. People with skin allergies or sensitive skin should either not participate, or have Artist perform a patch test at the beginning of the party. Client understands that darker face paints will linger and must be removed with mild soap, water and washcloth. For safety reasons, Artists will not paint children under 2 years old or anyone who is unwilling. For sanitary reasons, Artists will not paint anyone who is or appears to the Artist to be sick or suffering from cold sores, conjunctivitis, ringworm, sunburn, eczema, any infectious skin condition or open wounds, colds or flu and generally unwell. These determinations are at the Artists discretion. Artists will use reasonable care, but is not responsible for damage to clothing or property. The Client agrees to pay for any accidents or injuries caused by pets or guests, and/or any damage to Artists equipment or supplies caused by pets, lawn sprinklers, or guests. Under no circumstances will Artists supervise children. Their behaviour and safety is the Clients and/or Parents responsibility. Artists will not repaint if a Client/s design is damaged due to physical activity, moisture exposure or wear and tear unless client is willing to pay fee per design again. Or if time permits when an hourly rate is applied. Please note, other clientele who have not been painted will be attended to first. The client is responsible for informing parents of attending children that there will be a face painter/temporary glitter tattoo artist at the event, and will advise the artist if there are any children that cannot participate.

Per Design Rate

Please email / call us for a quote. Generally an hourly rate is applied for larger functions, charity and fundraising events. Completed contract must be received 7 calendar days prior to event or client runs the risk of losing that date.

Travel/setup/other fees: Travel fees apply when the

event is more than 20 minutes from Charters Towers. Set up / other fees will be discussed as per needed.

Breaks and Stop Time

Artists will have paid breaks of 5-10 minutes every two hours and access to a rest room. If you have booked by the hour, it is your responsibility to limit additional guests from requesting service after that time. Please book enough time to have all your guests painted to avoid this disappointment.

Cancellations / Refunds / Reschedule

Should you need to reschedule your event, please do so at least 7 days prior and we will make every effort to meet your needs. If you need to cancel the event, you must cancel within 24 hours of the event or you will have to pay the total contracted amount on page 1. Should our Artist get sick/ have to cancel, we will refund any deposits paid.

Limitations On Artwork
If in public, artists will not paint on any part of the body that is not legal to expose or anyplace she does not feel comfortable painting. In addition, Artists will not paint subject matter she deems offensive or disturbing.

Extreme Adverse Working Conditions

Artist has the right to cease painting and leave without refunding any monies if there are extreme adverse working conditions and the Client fails to remedy the situation after it has been brought to the Clients attention. Adverse conditions included but not limited to:
