PREFACE BACKGROUND OF THE STUDY: In this research we have managed to find out the technological acceptance of persons availing banking facilities, purpose for which they use internet banking and the reasons for which they are circumspect of using this technology. Through this research we tried to find out that why in this new age of technology a phenomenon like Internet Banking hasnt been fully accepted by the customers. INTRODUCTION TO THE TOPIC: In the current technological age, Internet banking has been widely accepted and has become a vital part, all over the developed countries but has not properly come into effect in developing countries like Afghanistan. There is reluctance in accepting internet in developing countries. Via the survey we are trying to find the reasons behind the current level of acceptance by the general public. OBJECTIVES OF STUDY: The main objective behind conducting this study was to find out the level of acceptance of Internet Banking in Afghanistan, the factors hindering its acceptance, various purposes for which it is being used, the various banks offering the service, the composition of population availing these services. By conducting various tests and analyzing the data collected,

generating a report on its popularity in a developing country like Afghanistan. PROBLEM STATEMENT: METHODOLOGY OF RESEARCH: The data was collected through primary sources. As the study is based on the personal opinion of the respondents personal interaction was carried out between the researcher and the subject thus the technique of questionnaire was used. The instrument for data collection in the form of a structured questionnaire was designed to gather information. The questionnaire was a mix of open as well as closed ended questions to make it easier to analyze the data. 2.1 SOURCES Questionnaire Internet Newspapers Books For our survey we had targeted professionals and non-professionals. For this we had gone to some IT companies and also had surveyed with some of our friends who are non-professionals. With this we had spent our time on this project for more than 80 hrs, within 15 days. Our methodology was very simple and with participative group we succeeded in researching on our topic. Tasks were defined to each

member. And while inputting the data and designing the report and completing the report our team gave their best.
