RENTAL POLICIES
No matter who you are, or what your circumstances, your heart needs a home. Our church home is open to you. We have some core beliefs that we would like to share with you. These beliefs are central to who we are and what we do. We believe in God, who has created the world and loves all people. It is our desire to love one another as He loves us. We believe in Jesus Christ, Gods Son, who became one of us in order to help us. He lived a perfect life and was crucified, taking the punishment for our sins. He rose from the grave after three days and is now reigning in heaven. We believe that our salvation is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ. Our faith expresses itself in repentance and baptism in the name of Jesus. Repentance is a desire to turn away from our previous way of life and walk with God. Baptism is immersion in water for the remission of sins. We believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God, which reveals Gods will for us through His powerful acts of love and mercy toward His people. It is our ultimate authority for all spiritual matters.

ASHLAND CHURCH OF CHRIST

Rentals are on a first come, first serve basis. Church services and events always take precedence. No alcohol or smoking on church grounds. The Ashland Church of Christ does not provide any decorations or table cloths. Any music deemed crude or inappropriate will not be allowed. No rice thrown please. Birdseed is acceptable. Reservations must be completed and fees paid a minimum of two (2) weeks prior to the event. The Ashland Church of Christ reserves the right to deny services for any event for any reason. Prices and policies subject to change. Please contact us for the most current information.

Classrooms and a Nursery Available for breakout rooms, dressing rooms or whatever else you need. These rooms have varying Multipurpose Room (MPR) 498 max capacity This room is perfect for any event. There are enough padded chairs to seat up to 400 and enough plastic chairs and 8 foot tables to seat up to 200 diners. We also have multi-media capabilities, please see Media Equipment. Outdoor Pavilion Available for spring, summer and fall events, the pavilion can seat up to 200. There are private restrooms close to the pavilion and plenty of space for games. You must provide your own grill and obtain permission for any open fire (i.e. camp fire). Kitchen A full service kitchen is available for you or your caterer. With cook tops, ovens, refrigerators, prep tables and a dishwasher, the kitchen has the equipments to help you prepare for a banquet or reception. Note: Pots, pans, serving accessories, and eating utensils are not available from the church at this time. Media/Tech Equipment The MPR has a big screen and digital projector set up for Powerpoint and other multimedia presentations. There is also a sound system and variable lighting. Most classrooms have white boards and there are two TV/DVD players available. On special request, we may have office equipment (copier, paper cutter, staplers, etc.) available. Let us know your needs. seating capacities and most have white boards. There is also a nursery room available. You must provide your own nursery care if using the room.

Entire Building* Includes MPR, Kitchen and all smaller rooms. Multi-day events will be prorated for both usage and custodial fees. Kitchen and Cafeteria* *Custodial Charge This is for the normal or typical cleaning of restrooms and facilities that one would expect after an event. **For excessive dirt, trash, staining , etc., a $40 an hour charge will be applied to the bill and future usage may be restricted. Media Technician Equipment charges included. One (1) hour minimum. Minister Fee Our Minister is available to perform wedding ceremonies and the fee includes both the rehearsal and the actual ceremony. The minister will want to meet with the couple several times prior to the event if he is performing the ceremony. Set-up/Tear Down This fee is for tables and chairs, only, and does not include decorations. May be waived under certain conditions. NOTE: Usage Fees include a church representative to, at a minimum, open and close the building and remain on the premises at our discretion. Church Members receive special pricing.
