Childhood and Youth Glossary

This glossary combines the work of many people in the fields of Early Childhood,
Child Rights, Youth, and Mental Health, who contributed to the translation and
adaptation of resources published by the Arab Resource Collective (ARC).

This is an ongoing project that still needs testing and expansion. We ask you all to
contribute in developing this glossary through:
- suggesting amendments, corrections and new inputs
- suggesting annotations
- suggesting alternative meanings/ terms used in your environments

The glossary is published in both English-Arabic and Arabic-English, and contains a

section on explained terms that still needs developing.
Please send your Feedback and suggestions to ARCs address.
