The course prepares the students with teaching skills of physical education, health education and music education. Applications for actual teaching Technique and approaches are introduced with emphasis on classroom and outdoor/field class management. Development and preparation of instructional materials and motivational aids are required. Number of Units: 3 Number of Hours/Week: 9 General Objectives: At the end of the semester, students are expected to:
1. Discuss current thrusts and issues in physical education, health education and music education and arts.
2. Discuss the laws of learner and their practical implications on the teaching process 3. Enumerate and differentiate the various music teaching strategies in MAPEH. 4. Manifest a reasoned commitment to the philosophical objectives of music education through an avowed resolve for a heightened teaching efficiency and effectively. 5. Develop an appreciation for the teaching profession as a career and as a vocation 6. Prepare and execute good lesson plan in teaching demonstration. 7. Show familiarity with the teaching materials in the MAPE textbooks and Learning Competencies by performing them
