Hip and Knee Replacement Surgery and Rehabilitation in BC: The Best Place on Earth?
Hip and knee replacement surgeries are on the rise in Canada - in part due to our aging population and increased prevalence of osteoarthritis. In BC, about 12,000 persons undergo one of these elective surgeries each year, each with differing expectations and experiences along the surgical continuum. This Caf will stimulate conversation on hip and knee replacement surgery and how to optimize rehabilitation and physical recovery. Join us for lively discussion, debate and refreshments.
