TREAT YOUR STUDENTS TO A MUSICAL JOURNEY as Chicago Jazz Philharmonics Double Quartet blends the worlds of jazz and classical. Led by Orbert Davis, some of Chicagos best musicians will stir up emotions as students expand their world from one in which we live, to one in which we imagine.

TOO HOT TO HANDEL: THE JAZZGOSPEL MESSIAH

Friday, January 18, 2013 11am | 1 hour rehearsal | $10 per person OUR HOTTEST ANNUAL TRADITION! Your students will experience Handels Messiah in a whole new way: infused with jazz, gospel, blues, bebop and other American musical traditions. Our landmark theatre will be lled with the sounds of an orchestra, jazz combo and choir, along with riveting soloists Rodrick Dixon, Alfreda Burke and Karen Marie Richardson.

OUR MOST POPULAR STUDENT MATINEE! An interactive performance by Americas foremost dance company will include a full performance of the Ailey classic Revelations and selections of other repertory.

All events are available for student groups of 10 or more people, elementary through high school. Everyone, including chaperones, must pay the admission fee. Seating for all student events is assigned on a rst-paid, rst-seated basis. A one-time $10 handling fee is applied to each group. | Each student group will receive an ofcial study guide.
