Using the board, list out the types of anxiety disorders: Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD), Panic Disorder, Agoraphobia, Posttraumatic Stress Disorder, Social Anxiety, Specific Phobia, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) Students will get into pairs of 2. Students will use the website: http://www.adaa.org/ to research 4 types of anxiety disorders. On a sheet of paper, they will answer the following questions: 1. What is the name of this specific anxiety disorder? 2. What characterizes this disorder? Be specific. 3. What is the etiology of this disorder? 4. Who does this disorder affect? 5. How can you help treat this disorder? Each student will turn in his/her own work.
