Best place to find meteorites?

Antarctica Deep impact- Space mission a few years ago to go and hit the core of a meteorite. Protecting against impacts- if you had 100 years- paint ball the comet. A fraction of a millimeter per second is enough to deflect it past the earth. If you had 3 years, inflate a huge balloon that is pushed with a rocket thereby moving the comet gently.
