I would like to take this time to write a letter of recommendation for Miss Erica Pang. I highly recommend Miss Erica Pang for a teaching position in your school district. I am a second grade bilingual teacher at Hall Elementary in Aurora, Illinois. Miss Pang was my student teacher during the fall of 201 1-2012 school year. I have had the pleasure to observe Miss Pang teach large group lessons, as well as provide small group instruction. Throughout the semester, she portrayed many qualities that exhibited her dedication to the field of teaching.
Ms. Pang's professionalism is evident in every aspect in which she performs. She is confident, informative, and knowledgeable. Ms. Pang is willing to work hard and welcomes any challenges with a smile. Ms. Pang was organized rn her preparation and planning as well as in the implementation of her lessons. She was very effective in meeting the varied academic and linguistic needs of her students. Her use of positive reinforcement and genuine concern for her students was effective in encouraging full participation in her lessons. Miss Pang developed original unit and lesson plans, but also demonstrated the ability to implement lessons from an established curriculum. Her lessons include appropriate objectives and creative methods to achieve her goals. More importantly, Miss Pang established an excellent rapport with her students, which created a positive learning environment for her second grade class. Equally as important, Miss Pang volunteered to take on the additional responsibilities of serving on the Literacy Committee, working afterschool events, and maintained a positive rapport with her students and their parents. Her bilingual skills were critical in communicating with and creating a welcoming environment for all families at Hall Elementary.
