12-41118 Bank Robbery On Monday May 7, 2012 at approximately 4:17 pm, The Grand Rapids Police Department responded to the PNC Bank located at 3415 lake Eastbrook BL SE, on a reported robbery. Upon arrival, witnesses told police that a suspect entered the bank and approached a bank teller. The suspect produced a large tan and gray backpack and demanded money. After obtaining an undisclosed amount of money, the suspect fled the bank on foot northbound on the East Beltline. The suspect was described as a black male, 62-64 in height, and weighing 230-250 lbs. The suspect was wearing gray pants, a black jacket, and a black hooded sweatshirt pulled over his head. He was also wearing a black ski mask and white gloves, along with black and white Nike shoes. The Major Case Team and the FBI are investigating this robbery.
