Identifying Economic, Political, and Social trends in India and the World (to the extent relevant to us) Examine the environment in which SCL operates including the cement market, the power market, other building materials, etc Gain an understanding of our organization, including the culture and other softer issues Identify what we are good at and areas that we need to improve Interview Top and Senior Management and understand the vision and aspirations Identify various strategic options that are available to SCL to realize these visions and aspirations Evaluate various strategic options quantitatively as well as quantitatively and suggest best option
