The student starts the experiment with an object distance of 8.0 cm. The position of the screen is adjusted until a sharp image is formed on the screen.The image distance between the convex lens and the screen, v is measured and recorded. The experiment is repeated with the object distances of 12.0 cm, 16.0 cm, 20.0 cm, 24.0 cm and 28.0 cm. The image distances, v are shown in Diagrams 1.2, 1.3, 1.4, 1.5, 1.6 and 1.7.
