The student starts the experiment with an object distance of 8.0 cm. The position of the screen is adjusted until a sharp image is formed on the screen.The image distance between the convex lens and the screen, v is measured and recorded. 4. Diagram 4.1 and 4.2 show the electric circuits which connects an electric bell to an ammeter and a power supply. When the switch is closed, it is observed that the bell in Diagram 4.2 rings louder than the bell in Diagram 4.1.
