    System Restore -------------System Restore is disabled in this edition of Windows, for added speed.

    You can easily re-enable it if you wish. Just run ENABLE.REG and reboot, then you have System Restore back again. This is disabled because it causes hard disk activity, at times you might not want it to. The solution is just use Acronis to backup your system, then it really is fully backed up. Note: Not all editions of Windows have System Restore.
