Congratulations to the Class of 2012! Best of luck to you in college, careers, and life!! Calendar dates to note: 1. TEXTBOOKS and CALCULATORS: All textbooks must be turned in by May 16 to the Firebird Office. Students are responsible for damaged, lost, or stolen textbooks. All school calculators must be turned in by May 16 to the Firebird Office. Students are responsible for damaged, lost, or stolen calculators. Please have the Textbook Student Receipt filled out when you come to the office. Find the form with Mr. Rutherford, at the Book Room door, and in the Firebird Office. 2. LOCKERS: All lockers must be cleaned out on your own time before May 16. Mr. Rutherford will check lockers for damage, cleanliness, etc. Please use the large, hall trash cans and/or Nest trash cans to clean out your locker. 3. EOCs: EOCs are on May 15, 16 (only come to school if you have an EOC) Students meet at 9 a.m. in the Auditorium for Bio and Alg on Tuesday; English I on Wednesday. 4. SENIOR SENDOFF (New this year!!) is on May 17 (School day is required for all students; 9:00 a.m. 3:30 p.m.; Schedule below.) 9 a.m. noon Academic Awards Assembly meet in the MPC at 9 a.m. (Family members welcome; Mandatory for students; Must be present to get award; Senior cap & gown picture) 12:00 p.m. 12:30 p.m. Lunch (Students can bring or get their pre-ordered lunch.) 12:30 p.m. 2:30 p.m. Field Day Competitions (PAA Family Competitions; Staff Competitions; Voluntary participation) 2:30 p.m. 3:30 p.m. PAA Family Parties (PAA Parties; Senior Class PAA Party in the Nest; Senior Sendoff T-shirt Free to all students; Must be present to get t-shirt) 5. REPORT CARDS: Mailed to your house during the last week of May. 6. FEES: Make sure to pay all of your fees by May 17. 7. May 17: Athletic Awards Assembly at 6 p.m. in the Auditorium. All sports from the entire year will celebrate awards during this event. 8. May 18: Graduation Event: Graduation Practice, 1 p.m.; Mandatory for all walking graduates; Meet in the Auditorium. 9. May 19: Graduation Event: Commencement Ceremony, 10 a.m. in the Tarlton Complex. CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR SENIORS!!
