The following procedure describes the use of the control screens.

This procedure can be carried out with machine at FSNL

Before Start Testing no any Other Test in Progress. 1 2 3 4 Steam Turbine at 3000rpm. Set the target speed at 3100rpm; set the speed up rate at 50rpm/min. On DEH picture, select Yes for OPC Overspeed test in OPC Test. When the turbine speed is increased to 3090rpm, OPC solenoid valve is actuated and the regulating valve is turned to Closed. When the turbine speed drops to about 3000rpmthe Overspeed protection is reset and GV1/2 will Open to maintain Speed 3000 rpm. Relieve OPC Test, select No for OPC Test. Maintain the 3000rpm rating. Record on plant check sheet Check from field operator for any abnormality.
