How to install Microsoft Office Communicator 2007 R2 1.

Click Next

2. Chose I accept the license terms and then click Next

3. Enable Microsoft update for OCS Client and then click Next

4. Click Install

5. Click Finish

6. From Start All Programs open OCS Client and type your FQDN like: username@gizasystems.local and then Click Sign in

7. After that type domain\username and your password

9. You can add your friends by using display name or by e-mail address

10. You can use office communicator to signing from outside by using this setting (without VPN )

12. After that use manual setting 13. Use in internal server :giza-ocs.gizasystems.local:5061 &in external server you can use giza-ocs.gizasystems.com:443 14. And chose TLS not TCP

This setting for domain user only if any one need to use office communicator must import Giza certificate please follow this is steps
1. Click Start and click on the Run command. Type mmc in the Open text box and click OK.

In the Console 1 console, click the File menu and click the Add/Remove Snap-in command (figure 1)

Click the Add button in the Add/Remove Snap-in dialog box (figure 2).

3. Click on the Certificates entry in the Available Standalone Snap-in list on the Add Standalone Snap-in dialog box (figure 3). Click Add.

Select the Computer account option on the Certificates snap-in page (figure 4). Click Next.

5. On the Select Computer page, select the Local computer: (the computer this console is running on) option and click Finish (figure 5).

6. Click Close on the Add Standalone Snap-in page (figure 6).

7. Click OK on the Add/Remove Snap-in dialog box (figure 7)

8. Right-click trusted root (certificates), point to All Tasks, and then click Import. On the Welcome to the Certificate Import Wizard page, click next. On the File to Import page, click Browse, locate your certificate file, and then click next. On the Certificate Store page, click Place all certificates in the following store, and then click next. Click Finish, and then click OK to confirm that the import was successful.
