HOME INVASION-SEXUAL ASSAULT

On Monday, June 04, 2012, at 5:30 a.m., Grand Rapids Police responded to a home in the 600 block of Veto St. NW, on the report of a sexual assault that had just occurred. Upon arrival, officers spoke to several subjects that were in the house at the time. Occupants of the house told police that sometime after 4:00 a.m., four to five suspects forced their way into the house. The occupants of the house, whom had been sleeping, were struck by pistols and then forcibly bound. One occupant of the house was then sexually assaulted by the suspects. After the assaults the suspects fled the home taking personal property from the victims. The suspects were described as black males, wearing dark clothing including black hoodedsweatshirts. In addition one of the suspects was described as 6-2, skinny build, wearing a white bandana and white t-shirt. An additional suspect was described as having a shaved head and wearing an orange bandana.
