    Ahti is usually presented as the God of the Water in Finnish mythology.

    He has been important figure in Finland because Finland is the land of thousand lakes and located by the Baltic Sea. Ahti is a rich, warrior typed hero who reigned the waters and gave his treats to the fishermen and those who were couraged enough to sail the seas.
