Hey---the end of the year is fast approaching. If you need library time, you need to schedule it soon. We will be closing Monday, May 7. All library books will be due on Friday, May 4. We begin collecting student textbooks on Tuesday, May 8. That means the computers will be unavailable as well. Soif you have a project that needs library or computer access, now is the time to get on the schedule! Stop by any time next week and sign up! If so, this would be a great time to talk about checking sources, social media, the complexity of world politics, emotional response vs. analytical action, and many other topics. Most of what Im seeing is actually calling this phenomenon into question, regarding money (donations vs. expenditures), timeliness, and effectiveness. A great teaching moment if ever there was one!
