My AS year was tough in that I underwent a life change that resulted in my having to live by myself while also continuing with my studies. It was an intense time both emotionally and physically. I was determined to gain success academically while also balancing my home life. I believe that 2. However, as the years passed and I gained more interest I have researched and questioned the routes and process of gaining access into the career while also finding out what it entails I was able to understand how important law is in society. In every society some form of law is required and enforced for there to be a civil society. I want to play the role of ensuring that can be said about this society. 3. This allowed for me to understand the route into the career as well as distinguish between what a solicitor does and a barrister. I sat in on consultations and cases as well as meeting and conversing with several barristers while shadowing them about the work that they were involved in.
