USC Career Center Graduate Intern needed!

The USC Career Center serves students (both undergraduate and graduate) and alumni from all majors and professional programs across USC. USC Career Center Graduate Interns assist professional staff with walk-in advising, event planning, and execution of career-related workshops/programming. Our graduate interns will be trained and actively engaged in the various functions of the Career Center including Career Counseling, Internships, On Campus Recruiting, Marketing and Alumni Special Events. This is an excellent opportunity for those graduate students interested in broadening their student advising experiences to include career-related advising. Successful candidates will possess: 1 to 2 years of experience working with college student populations within Student Affairs advisory, peer mentoring, or counseling roles; strong interest in career services; excellent customer service skills; exceptional oral and written communication skills, strong organizational and technical skills. All graduate interns are expected to provide excellent customer service to members of the Trojan Family. Employment Details: 20 hours per week with at least two full days of availability 9:00 a.m. to 4 or 5p.m. during academic school year (mid-August to mid- May) Work Study students are highly encouraged to apply.
