Office of Recruitment and Admissions Graduate Assistant Position

The mission of the USC Sol Price School of Public Policy is to improve the quality of life for people and their communities in the U.S. and abroad. The Price Schools Office of Recruitment and Admissions is seeking a graduate assistant to start August 1st. The graduate assistant will work on a team with four full-time staff members on recruitment and admissions initiatives. Responsibilities: Create and disburse monthly newsletter for prospective students; Manage phone and email communication and outreach for prospective students inquiries; Attend and assist with admissions meetings, recruitment fairs, and events; Maintain positive contact with Price faculty and staff; Process applications; Assist with the campus visit program for prospective and admitted students; and additional duties as assigned. Qualifications: First-year PASA student preferred; Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills; Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and follow through; Ability and enthusiasm to work with a diverse applicant pool. The position is a great opportunity to get exposure to the operations of an admissions office for one of the Top 10 Public Affairs schools in the U.S. The position will require approximately 20 hours/week and pays $12/hour.
