    An Enduring Performance

    The Birmingham Symphony Hall (and its floor!) is celebrating its 21st birthday this year, and has had a floor lift for the occasion! The original Junckers SylvaKet 22mm solid Beech floor has been refurbished for the second time, sanded back, treated with PreLak primer followed by three coats of High Performance Commercial Silk Matt Lacquer. The floor in the Symphony Hall, which forms an important part of the acoustics, has to be meticulously maintained. Re-finished in Junckers lacquer especially developed for high traffic areas, the floor is very easy to care for, extremely durable and will last a lifetime! The flooring contractors were Capital Floors of Leicester.
