THE ANSWER IS: D2 IN THE FIFTH WEEK THE PROCESS: 1. The dimensions of the structure can be used to work out that it contains 50,000 cubic units of materials. 2. The stone blocks are 1 cubic unit in size therefore 50,000 are needed.

3. Each worker lays 50 blocks per hour. There are 7 working hours per shift. There are 3 shifts in each working day. There are 3 workers on 2 shifts and 2 on the other shift. Therefore 2,800 blocks can be laid in a day.

4. D5 is a maintenance day. 5. Block number 50,000 is therefore laid on D2 of week 5.
