The rules : accounting standards, concepts & conventions (30M) Where the figures come from Assets, liabilities, income , expenditure How the figures come from Book keeping, Journal, ledger

Basic Accounting procedure (60 M)

Day 2 Identify the users of financial information & their needs ,Following this P&L & B\S will be explained & its Components (40 M) Financial Statements: Nature, objectives; latest trends in presenting financial data i.e From GAAP to IFRS; importance and limitations. (15 M) Sources & uses of funds for short term & long term needs (WC & cap-Ex &) (25 Minutes)

Capital Market instruments & intermediaries (20 Minutes) Primary market and secondary market intermediaries role and functions,

Legal & Regulatory framework (SEBI, MCA, RBI, Depositories) (20 Minutes) Reforms and regulatory measures to promote investor confidence
