You are a spiritual warrior on the battlefield against all that prevents you from reaching your goal of optimum health and spiritual enlightenment. With inner peace and an open heart you are filled with love, wisdom and compassion. The practice of asana not only strengthens your body, mind and breathing, but also awakens your spiritual energy and powers of concentration and determination. For each asana focus your spiritual awareness on the chakra represented by the coloured sphere. Beginners should hold each asana for 3 to 10 breaths. Advanced should hold each asana for 3 to 5 minutes. Find your limitation and never stretch into pain. Remember to practice with patience, gentleness and determination.
