MAIN ENTRANCES, PARKING LOTS, TOWER LIGHT, KIOSKS, LANDING OF LIFT/ ESCALATOR,ESCLATOR MACHINE ROOM, STARTING OF STAIRCASES, LANDING OF EMERGENCY EXITS, SULABH TOILETS, SHUTTERS/ GATES ON MAIN ENTRANCES, DOME FOR LIGHT, UNDERGROUND WATER TANK, ASS/RSS ROOM, PUMP ROOM, FIRE HYDRANT, SIGNAGES & VENTILATION SHAFTS.
UNPAID CONCOURSE:
LANDING OF STAIRCASES, ESCALATORS, LIFTS, MAP OF LIFT, TOM, CCC, KIOSKS / SHOPS, LIGHTS, FANS, SPEAKERS, LDB, SIGNAGES, CCTV, ANALOG CLOCK, SECURITY ROOM, CAMERAS, ADVERTISEMENT PANELS, FIRE HYDRANTS etc.
PAID CONCOURSE:
MAINLY DIVIDED IN TWO PARTS i.e. PASSENGER AREA & NON-PASSENGER AREA.
PASSENGER AREA: AFC GATES, PIDS,
ANALOG CLOCK, SIGNAGES, LANDING OF STAIRCASES, ESCALATORS, LIFTS, KIOSKS, LDB, SPEAKERS, FIRE EXTINGUISHER, HOUSEKEEPING ROOM, ADVERTISEMENT PANELS etc.
NON-PASSENGER AREA:
DIFFERENT EQUIPMENT ROOMS i.e. SCR, SER, TER, UPS ROOM, ASS ROOM, STAFF TOILETS, EMERGENCY EXITS, STORE, STAFF ROOM, REVENUE ROOM, FIRE EXTINGUISHER,
ISLAND OR UP & DOWN PLATFORM, DIGITAL CLOCKS, PIDS, PLATFORM SUPERVISOR BOOTH, FIRE HYDRANT/ SPRINKLERS, SIGNAGES, ESCALATOR MACHINE ROOM, LIFT MAP, SEATS FOR OLD & SICK PERSONS, STAIRCASES, EMERGENCY EXIT, ESP, ETS, OHE/OCS (OVERHEAD CATENARY SYSTEM), TRACK, NORMAL STOPPING MARKS, TRUSS FRAME, TRACK ACCESS GATES, OVERHEAD WATER TANKS, SIGNALS, ADVERTISEMENT PANELS, TVF, SHAFT DOORS, LIGHTS, BEAKONS, DLR etc.
IN SOME OF THE STATIONS THIS LEVEL IS BUILT AND NAMED. EQUIPMENTS ACCORDING TO THE NECESSITY & SPACE ARE PLACED IN THIS LEVEL.
IN SOME OF THE ELEVATED STATIONS PROVIDED TO HOUSE EQUIPMENT ROOM SUCH AS PUMP ROOM AND ASS ROOM ACCORDING TO SPACE.
THIS LEVEL IS PRESENT IN UNDERGROUND SECTION BELOW PLATFORM LEVEL, MAINALY PROVIDED TO ACCOMMODATE ENVIRONMENTAL CONTROL SYSTEM, SUMP ROOM, PUMP ROOM etc. DUE TO SHORTAGE OF SPACE
AVAILABLE IN SOME OF THE COMMERCIALLY IMPORTANT STATIONS, SPECIALLY BUILT FOR PROPERTY DEVELOPMENT PURPOSE ABOVE THE STATION BUILDING ON TOP FLOOR.

MAP OF LIFT, ANALOG CLOCK, TOM, AFC GATES, ELECTRIC LIGHTING, LDB, PORTABLE FIRE EXTINGUISHERS, CCC, CCTV CAMERAS, FIRE SUPRESSION SYSTEM, DIFFERENT HOUSEKEEPING MACHINES, DIFFERENT PANEL & WORKSTATION IN SCR, SIGNALLING EQUIPMENTS, UPS, ASS EQUIPMENTS, PIDS, SPEAKERS, SIGNAGES, STRIP BARRIERS, LIFTS, ESCALATORS,AC IN DIFFERENT ROOMS, EXHAUST FANS, TOILETRY etc.

WHAT IS EVACUATION?
DURING EMERGENCY SITUTATIONS ARISING DUE TO FIRE, BOMB THREAT, EXPLOSION, ACCIDENT OR NATURAL CALAMITIES IT IS A PROCESS TO SAFE GUARD THE LIFE BY TAKING PEOPLE AWAY FROM DANGER ZONE, SAFELY AND CORDEN OFF THE DANGER ZONE TO AVOID FURTHER INJURY OR FATALAITY.
PURPOSE OF EVACUATION
1. TO SAVE LIFE OF PEOPLE BY TAKING THEM AWAY FROM THE SITE. 2. TO EXPEDITE THE ASSISTANCE WITHOUT OUTSIDE OBSTRUCTION. 3. TO MAKE ARRANGEMENTS FOR OUTSIDE AGENCIES WHICH ARE COMING FOR RESCUE OPERATIONS & KEEP THE WAY CLEAR SO THAT THESE AGENCIES REACH SITE WITHOUT WASTING TIME.
RESPONSIBILITIES
STATION CONTROLLER: 1. TO ENSURE SAFETY OF PASSENGERS, STAFF & OTHER STAFF.
2. TO MINIMISE PANIC AMONG STAFF & PASSENGERS BY PROVIDING ALL POSSIBLE HELP. 3. TO CLEAR ALL PERSONS FROM THE STATION IN SHORTEST PRACTICABLE TIME. 4. TO DECIDE THE EVACUATION ROUTE ACCORDING TO THE SITUATION AND INTIMATE OCC. 5. TO CLOSE THE STATION AND REMAIN ON DUTY OUT SIDE THE STATION. 6. IF REQUIRED PUT ALL AFC GATES IN EMERGENCY MODE
TRAFFIC CONTROLLER:
1. TO ASSIST CLEARANCE OF PASSENGER FROM PLATFORM. 2. TO PREVENT PASSENGER ALIGHTING AT THE STATION. 3. TO INFORM FIRE BRIGADE, MEDICAL SERVICES & ALL OFFICERS ABOUT THE SITUATION. 4. TO INFORM ALL STATIONS ABOUT THE CLOSURE OF THE STATION AND EXPECTED TIME OF RESTORATION, IF POSSIBLE. 5. INFORM ALL TRAIN OPERATOR ABOUT THE CLOSURE OF STATION AND INSTRUCT THE PASSENGERS NOT TO ALIGHT AT THE STATION CONCERNED.
SECURITY STAFF:
1. WILL CO-OPERATE WITH STATION CONTROLLER AND GIVE ALL POSSIBLE ASSISTANCE TO EVACUATE THE STATION. 2. CLOSE THE ENTRANCES WHEN ALL PERSONS LEFT THE STATION AND REMAIN ON DUTY AT GATE. 3. ASSIST TO MAINTAIN LAW & ORDER . 4. GUIDE OUTSIDE AGENCIES TO SITE PROMPTLY ON ARRIVAL.
BOOKING STAFF:
WILL CO-OPERATE WITH STATION CONTROLLER AND GIVE ALL POSSIBLE ASSISTANCE TO EVACUATE THE STATION.
PLANNING
TO EFFECTIVELY DEAL WITH THE EMERGENCY SITUATIONS PLANNING AT INDIVIDUAL STATION LEVEL IS REQUIRED TO BE KEPT READY. IN ORDER TO MAKE THE EVACUATION FOOL PROOF FOLLOWING ASPECTS MUST BE LOOKED INTO BEFORE FINALISING THE EVACUATION PLAN:1. STUDY OF STATION LAY OUT. 2. DESIGNATED ASSEMBLY POINT. 3. LANDING OF EMERGENCY EXIT TO BE CHECKED 4. ALTERNATE ROUTES DEPENDING UPON THE SITUATION & LOCATION OF THE CAUSE FOR EVACUATION. 5. IDENTIFY TRIGGRING POINT ENROUTE. 6. AVAILABILITY OF ESSENTIAL EQUIPMENTS. 7. TOTAL STAFF INVOLVED IN ASSISTANCE.
EVACUATION PROCESS
1. SUMMON ALL ON DUTY STAFF AT ASSEMBLY POINT BY ANNOUNCING ON PA SYSTEM & STOP BOOKING OF TICKETS IMMEDIATELY. 2. BRIEF THE STAFF ABOUT THE SITUATION AND EVACUATION ROUTE. 3. DESIGNATE DIFFERENT TASKS TO STAFF AND ASK THEM TO FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS STRICTLY. 4. DEPUTE STAFF AT TRIGGERING POINT TO GUIDE PASSENGERS SAFELY. 5. SEND THE STAFF WITH MEGA PHONE TO ANNOUNCE INSTRUCTIONS. 6. REGULAR ANNOUNCEMENT THROUGH PA SYSTEM ABOUT EVACUATION. 7. IF POSSIBLE, PLACE QUEUE MANAGERS FOR GUIDANCE TO REACH THE EMERGENCY EXIT. 8. DURING NIGHT ARRANGE PROPER LIGHTING. 9. DEPUTE ONE STAFF AT THE LANDING OF EMERGENCY GATE TO GUIDE PASSENGER SAFELY AT GROUND LEVEL. 10. VERIFY ALL PERSONS LEFT THE STATION ALONG WITH SECURITY STAFF. 11. INFORM COMPLETION OF EVACUATION TO OCC. 12. LOCK SCR AND COME OUT OF THE STATION WITH SECURITY STAFF. 13. REMAIN OUT SIDE THE DESIGNATED GATE FOR EMERGENCY SERVICES. 14. RENDER ALL POSSIBLE HELP TO EMERGENCY SERVICES WITH SECURITY. 15. ON CERTIFICATION FROM SECURITY STAFF INFORM OCC AND IF PERMITTED OPEN THE STATION FOR NORMAL SERVICES.
