Brief introduction of the topic/ study

Title of the study: Promotional activities of froth mango juice

Company profile: PRAN stands for Program for Rural Advancement Nationally. PRAN is currently the most well known household name among the millions of people in Bangladesh and abroad also. Since its inception in 1980, PRAN Group has grown up in stature and became the largest fruit and vegetable processor in Bangladesh. It also has the distinction of achieving prestigious certificate like ISO 9001:2000, and being the largest exporter of processed agro products with compliance of HALAL & HACCP to more than 70 countries from Bangladesh. PRAN is the pioneer in Bangladesh to be involved in contract farming and procures raw material directly from the farmers and processes through state of the art machinery at our several factories into hygienically packed food and drinks products. The brand PRAN has established itself in every category of food and beverage industry and can boost a product range from Juices, Carbonated Drinks, Confectionery, Snacks, and Spices to even Dairy products. Today, our consumers not only value PRAN for its authentic refreshing juice drinks products , but also for its mouth watering quality confectionery products with high visual appeal and exciting texture. We intend to expand our presence to every corner of the world and strive to make PRAN a truly international brand to be recognized globally.

Rational of the study:

We want to know the strategy of promotional activities of frooto. And how the target market reacts with this. and also find out is there have any opportunity to do a better promotion. As a marketing student this study will help us in future life to attract the target market. Our study will provide clear and prospective data about the Bangladeshi leading company; this will help faculty as well as students of AIUB. As pran a leading company in our country so this study will the new comers business to understand the market and pursue their business smoothly and contribute to make Bangladesh developed country.

Statement of problems: What are the target market? What is the promotional strategy? What are the Consumer response? Communication gap?

Scope and delimitation of the study: Our study is based on a particular product of PRAN RFL group. We will continuing our study by involving manager level employee as respondent. And also involve customer to do survey. And we also collect data from internet. Our time duration as much as our course duration. Objective:

Broad objectives: Effectiveness of promotional activities of frooto Specific objective: What are the strategy Target market and consumer response Find out the lacking How can make the promotion more effective

Methodology: This research we design to collect information by doing personal interview with the manager (event) of PRAN-RFL GROUP and questionnaire survey as well as internet. Our sample size will be minimum 50. And those will be student, job holder, business man, house wife and so on. The question will be simple and non personal or and unbiased. We will use some graphical presentation to present the data. And use simple editing and coding.
