HYMNS OF PRAISE
Unison Scriptures
7:30 a.m. Joshua 4:1-7 (NIV)
When the whole nation had finished crossing the Jordan, the LORD said to Joshua, 2Choose twelve men from among the people, one from each tribe, 3and tell them to take up twelve stones from the middle of the Jordan from right where the priests stood and to carry them over with you and put them down at the place where you stay tonight.
1
For I handed on to you as of first importance what I in turn had received: that Christ died for our sins in accordance with the scriptures, 4and that he was buried, and that he was raised on the third day in accordance with the scriptures,
3
So Joshua called together the twelve men he had appointed from the Israelites, one from each tribe, 5 and said to them, Go over before the ark of the LORD your God into the middle of the Jordan. Each of you is to take up a stone on his shoulder, according to the number of the tribes of the Israelites, 6to serve as a sign among you. In the future, when your children ask you, What do these stones mean? 7tell them that the flow of the Jordan was cut off before the ark of the covenant of the LORD. When it crossed the Jordan, the waters of the Jordan were cut off. These stones are to be a memorial to the people of Israel forever.
4
He answered them, You faithless generation, how much longer must I be among you? How much longer must I put up with you? Bring him to me. 20And they brought the boy to him. When the spirit saw him, immediately it threw the boy into convulsions, and he fell on the ground and rolled about, foaming at the mouth. 21Jesus asked the father, How long has this been happening to him? And he said, From childhood.
19
It has often cast him into the fire and into the water, to destroy him; but if you are able to do anything, have pity on us and help us. 23Jesus said to him, If you are able! All things can be done for the one who believes. 24Immediately the father of the child cried out, I believe; help my unbelief! 25When Jesus saw that a crowd came running together, he rebuked the unclean spirit, saying to it, You spirit that keep this boy from speaking and hearing, I command you, come out of him, and never enter him again!

April Ephesians 4:4 For there is one body and one Spirit, just as you have been called to one glorious hope for the future. May Ephesians 4:5-6 There is one Lord, one faith, one baptism, and one God and Father, who is over all and in all and living through all. June Ephesians 4:7 However, he has given each one of us a special gift through the generosity of Christ. July Ephesians 4:11 Now these are the gifts Christ gave to the church: the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, and the pastors and teachers. August Ephesians 4:12 Their responsibility is to equip Gods people to do his work and build up the church, the body of Christ. September Ephesians 4:13 This will continue until we all come to such unity in our faith and knowledge of Gods Son that we will be mature in the Lord, measuring up to the full and complete standard of Christ. October Ephesians 4:14 Then we will no longer be immature like children. We wont be tossed and blown about by every wind of new teaching. We will not be influenced when people try to trick us with lies so clever they sound like the truth. November Ephesians 4:15-16 Instead, we will speak the truth in love, growing in every way more and more like Christ, who is the head of his body, the church. He makes the whole body fit together perfectly. As each part does its own special work, it helps the other parts grow, so that the whole body is healthy and growing and full of love. December Ephesians 31-32 Get rid of all bitterness, rage, anger, harsh words, and slander, as well as all types of evil behavior. Instead, be kind to each other, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God through Christ has forgiven you.
For I know the plans I have for you; declares the LORD. Plans to prosper you and not harm you, Plans to give you hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11
