Guidelines for Applicants for Counseling ROUND 1 AND ROUND 2

Overview of the process

Following steps are required to complete the Document Verification process of Round 1 and Round 2.

Step 1: Login to the website www.ccmt.in. Step 2: Print Applicant Form, if not already done so Step 3: Check your allotment, if any then print Allotment Letter. Step 4: Generate and print E-Challan. Step 5: Deposit Initial Fee of Rs. 10,000/- using E-Challan in any ICICI Bank and report to any reporting NIT for document verification. Step 6: Get your documents verified, give Option for upgrade (I, II or III) and take Provisional Admission Letter.

Step 1: Logon to the system

Use the username and password available with you to logon. In case you have forgotten the password, click on forget password? Link to generate new password. Once logon, if you are not allotted a seat, you would see following type of screen

Step 2: Print Application Form, if not already done You could go down and click on Button to print your application form, as shown below. Please note that you would see your name and PRN in place of shaded boxes. Please read the disclaimer carefully. Not fulfilling necessary conditions may lead to cancellation of allotted seat.

Step 3: Print Allotment Letter Click on View Allotment Letter to see the Allotment letter as shown below

Click on Button to download a PDF version of the file. Save a copy for your reference and print it. You need to carry a copy of allotment letter during document verification. Use Save button ( ) to save the letter.

Step 4: Generate and Print E-Challan for payment of Initial Fee. Click button to generate the E-Challan as shown below

Read the guidelines carefully and then click generate E-Challan button to generate the E-Challan.

button to save the PDF file as shown below.

Please save this file, take a printout. This is also e-mailed to you and so you could take a printout through e-mail. Step 5: Deposit Initial Fee of Rs. 10,000/- using E-Challan in any ICICI Bank and report to any reporting NIT for document verification. Now you could take the E-challan to any ICICI Bank and pay Rs. 10,000/- by cash or DD in favour of Chairman CCMT payable at the location of the ICICI Bank where you are depositing the fee. IMPORTANT: Please ensure that the bank official has put transaction ID and Bank SOL ID on both your and CCMT Copy and puts his bank seal and signatures on both the copies. Next report to any NIT reporting centre along with printed allotment letter, CCMT and student copy of E-challan, all original certificates/documents (with two sets of photocopies) mentioned in the allotment letter within the reporting dates of that round. Step 6: Get your documents verified, give Option for upgrade (I, II or III) and take Provisional Admission Letter. At reporting centre you would be guided by the counseling staff. Fill the requisite forms provided, present your documents and get your documents verified. Please note that in case of any error in the data filled in application form and your documents (such as error in date of birth, eligible degree discipline or category etc.) your candidature may get cancelled. You also need to fill and exercise one of the upgrade option Option 1: Up gradation across Institutes Option 2: Up gradation within allotted Institute Option 3: Satisfied, no further up gradation. Reporting centre would also provide you with a provisional admission letter (only in case your seat is not cancelled due to change in active data and your documents are fully verified).
