has been very effective and can communicate in layman's terms as to how computer systems function and has taught me a great deal. Jeff has a wonderful sense of humor and an excellent work ethic which makes him a pleasure to be around. I have also volunteered for Jeff's Computers for Charity in the past and have seen Jeff's commitment to his community and his passion to assist the working poor. I highly recommend Jeff and plan on calling him again in the near future when I mess up my computer!" Patrick Flynn, was Jeffrey's client "Jeffrey has provided a number of our clients with computers and assisted them with problems in a timely manner." Dennis Austin, Surveillance Supervisor, Corporate Intelligence Consultants, was with another company when working with Jeffrey at Computers for Charity "I have known Jeff for the past six or seven years as both a friend and a technical consultant. Jeff has set up personal computers for me, my daughter, and granddaughter. He has maintained and upgraded them on a regular basis as well as troubleshooting upon occasion. Most recently he installed wifi, setup a home network, and integrated the two pcs, lap top, two printers, and my E-Reader. Not only has he been quick to respond when Ive asked him to add new equipment or solve technical problems; he has also been a patient teacher. Whenever he installs new hardware or software Jeff takes the time to sit down with me and my family and shows us how everything works. He has a great knack for explaining technology in terms that we novices can understand. Its always fun to work with Jeff. He has a wonderful sense of humor and his enthusiasm for all things computer is contagious. He somehow makes the learning process exciting and enjoyable. While it is clear to me that he has a great deal of technical expertise, he never talks down to people when introducing them to new tools and skills. To whom it concern, I am writing to you on behalf of Jeff Kill, I have known him the past three years. During that time I have discovered several things about him, Jeff is an outstanding leader, a highly effective computer repair-person, and a person who helped me and others around him grow. Based on what I know about him I strongly encourage you to offer him an opportunity to go to work for you. Having seen Jeff in action I know he will more than prove himself to be a valuable asset to your company. Through the Computers for Charity Jeff has set up and organized several projects that have benefited many people. One noteworthy project he oversaw was the collection of Macintosh computers and preparing them for distribution among local families during the Christmas holiday season. And another project Jeff organized were the refurbishing of Windows laptops for a Christian Mission in South America that was using the laptops to help improve people's lives in that part of the world. Amidst being a great leader Jeff is also an outstanding computer guru. From doing workstation repair to network support he easily shifts from task to task pending the varying priorities of people's constantly changing needs. As more people from the surrounding community come to utilize Computers for Charity's products and services, the constant changing of people's needs lead Jeff to continually develop his skill set to better meet their computer related needs. During my involvement with Computers for Charity he has helped me grow. By having an evergrowing list of people in need of computer repair, Jeff has helped reinforce what I learned in books about computer repair by getting me constant hands on computer repair work. As a spin off benefit while doing the repair work Jeff would educate other interested people that later would lead them into active roles within the Charity help grow and expand the services the Charity was able to offer people in the community. In ending I highly recommend Jeff Kill for placement within your organization, for if I was in a spot to offer him a job I would. Regrettable I am unable to extend him an offer, in the IT Department where I work our budget does not allow it at this time. Thank you for your time and consideration. July 11, 2011 Letter of Reference for Jeff Kill Dear Sirs: I am pleased to submit a letter of reference for Mr. Jeff Kill. I have known Jeff for the past six or seven years as both a friend and a technical consultant. As a member of the BGSU community for the past 35 years (I retired from the University Libraries last June, 2010) I am familiar with the important work that the ITS employees do. There are constant demands for support and service from all the departments and offices on campus. It is critical that the ITS staff members are flexible, reliable, tech savvy, and enthusiastic. They have to be skilled communicators and good problem solvers. Most importantly they have to like working with people. Jeff has all those characteristics. I served as chair of the Collections and Technical Services Department in UL for my last seven years at BGSU. I supervised more than thirty people (faculty, staff, and students) in a high tech environment. I am familiar with the demands on our employees in this time of staff shortages and technological changes. I can say with great confidence that Jeff would be a wonderful addition to the workforce. I give him my highest recommendation. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at (419) 352-6046 or at parmer@bgsu.edu. Sincerely, Coleen Parmer, retired Chair, Collections and Technical Services University Libraries Bowling Green State University

To whom it may concern: I would like to recommend Mr Jeffrey B. Kill for any position in your company that fits his skills, especially his computer skills. Jeff has been working for three years as the Founding Director of Computers for Charity. Jeff and his foundation have helped many people both in the USA and in other countries. They have more recently donated two working desktop CPUs for use by a newly founded organization called Blood Brothers Aid, Inc which helps Hemophiliac patients to get medicines and financial help for this life long and devastating blood disorder. July 21, 2001 To whom it may concern: We have known Jeff Kill for about five years. Through our church and media and his fine set-up and helping him get started with Computers For Charity at Turning Point United Methodist Church. He has taken on such a big project with considerable knowledge and much hard work. He spends a couple days a week after his work hours to take down old computers, monitors, keyboards and printers and restore with used and new parts so that people who are on low incomes or have never had a computer and gives them one from his fresh supply. He has helped people from other countries as well as non-profit groups or just a plain common family in need of a computer to take home with little or no money in return. He always looks for donations if someone in their heart wants to donate but doesnt ask if they cant afford to pay. Through word of mouth, internet and friendships he has received a lot of help by recruiting others from the area to help him because of the time that is needed for such a big project. On Tuesdays or Saturdays you can find him and a whole crew of volunteers he has contacted and they are all working hard at taking apart and re-structuring and rebuilding an almost new computer. All of this for free. The man has a soft heart and a real go getter as a computer guru and one that an individual could go to with questions and how to advice for anyone who needs information or has problems with net-working, problem solving or computer solutions. We would recommend Jeff for a computer job in your business or even an IT position if one should come up in the future. You may contact us at 419-354-6361or 419-575-0876 for verification purposes.
Sincerely.
To whom it may concern, I would like to take the opportunity to act as a reference for Mr. Jeffrey Kill. I have known Jeff for eight years and can verify that he is an outgoing and very intelligent individual who has an aptitude for detail and a tremendous work ethic. Jeff is also technically capable particularly when it comes to computers and their related operating systems. In our business dealings I have found Jeff to be very articulate, honest and professional. I highly recommend Jeffrey Kill for any organization that is looking to upgrade their employee skill set that can utilize his inherent strengths. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions concerning Mr. Kill.
