Dear BSc graduate BSc (Hons) in Applied Accounting Regional Graduation Ceremony, Singapore 2012 I am delighted to inform you that you have been allocated a place for you and your guest(s) at the Oxford Brookes University Regional Graduation Ceremony for the BSc (Hons) in Applied Accounting, to be held at the Marina Mandarin Singapore, 6 Raffles Boulevard, Marina Square, Singapore 039594 on Sunday 09 September 2012 (www.meritushotels.com). Registration for the graduation ceremony will commence at 2pm in the Marina Mandarin Ballroom Foyer on level 1 of the Marina Mandarin Singapore. As there will be approximately 250 graduates and their guests present at the ceremony, please ensure you allow sufficient time for registration, gowning and photography. We would advise you to arrive no later than 3pm. The event will start with a pre-ceremony briefing at 4.45am, and will be followed by the graduation ceremony at 5pm which will take place in the Marina Mandarin Ballroom on level 1. This will be followed by a drinks and canaps reception. The event is expected to finish at approximately 7pm. Gowns must be returned by 7.30pm latest. Please note that this is a formal event and is not suitable for children under 5 years of age. Attendance at the ceremony is free of charge for you and your guests. Graduates are responsible for all other costs incurred, such as travel, accommodation, gown hire and professional photographs etc. IMPORTANT: Academic gown hire and photography services: Ede and Ravenscroft are our suppliers of all gown hire and photography services. Please see the attached documents for details of the packages available. Please note that Package A (graduation attire & photography at $220 Singapore dollars) is compulsory for those requiring academic dress and package B (family photographs at $90 Singapore dollars) is optional. You MUST send your order form direct to Ede and Ravenscroft. Payment on the day MUST be cash only (Singapore Dollars please see attachments). All queries concerning gown hire and photography MUST be sent to Ede and Ravenscroft Please do not send your order form to the ACCA office as it will not be processed. The ceremony will be attended by Oxford Brookes Universitys Pro Vice-Chancellor, Professor Alistair Fitt, the Programme Director Jane Towers-Clark along with academic and administrative staff from the University and from the ACCA. You will be given a graduation ceremony booklet on the day which will include the names of all the BSc graduates at this ceremony. There is no charge for this booklet. Please do not contact this office before this time concerning the graduation ceremony in Singapore, unless you wish to inform us that you will no longer be able to attend.
