Punjab Citizen Information Management System (PCIMS)


Concept & Objective:
The world is global village now a day. This is a scientific generation everyone is connected with each other within the City, Country and World via Mobile and Internet. The concept of this information system is for Pakistan; however we can start this project from Punjab as an initiative. The objective to introduce the Citizen Information Management system is to get the history of each citizen of Pakistan. Data and information are those parameters on which the high level management takes decision to run any department, Organization and the Country. This PCIMS will provide the functionality to get the information of any citizen in seconds. Now the question arise what will be the benefit of that information so I have try to explain some of the basic advantages of this system which are as follows: Get to know the highly skilled professional (Doctors, Engineers, Professors, Lawyers, Labor etc) in the Country and Province. Get to know the number of Graduates and unemployment each Day/Month/Year so that opportunities can be created for them by forecasting the past and future trend. Utilization of the good people resources in the benefit of the country. Invitation to the selected citizens for any Government project on the basis of their skill set history relevant to the project. Provide services to the citizens on the basis of their information. Help them by using a centralized management system and keep a track of their history. You can get to know how many people are IT professionals, Doctors, Engineers, Lawyers, Labor and unemployed etc. You can also track how many citizens are working in which company. Areas of interest and their skills and we can utilize these resources for the betterment of our country. How many people are Intermediate, Graduate, Masters and Ph.D.s? How many people are doing job, Business and student etc.? You can even get the financial history of a citizen that what is the earning of each citizen. You can connect this system with Hospitals, Banks, NADRA, Multinational companies, Colleges, Universities, BISE, FBR and etc. to get the complete history of a citizen.

Details: We have systems in almost 80% of the organization and each system have the information of citizen either they are banks, universities, colleges & universities, companies, police stations, NADRA (CNIC/Passport). All these data bases are placed distributed we can create connectivity on a centralized Citizen Information management system and fetch the required information of each citizen in that centralized Management system. This system will also use to cater the citizens Service requests, Complaints, Feedback etc. We can provide each citizen about the site address and login, password through which he can go and update his profile information. Following are the suggested Mandatory fields related to citizen profile in this system, rest of the information can be fetch through other distributed database systems: Citizen CNIC Citizen Name Citizen Contact/Mobile Numbers Citizen Addresses Citizen Email address if available Citizen Education Citizen NTN Number Citizen Occupation

The whole system will be used by backend support staff, which will be only for the support and service of citizen, each citizen can call on that helpline and submit his/her complaint, service request and feedback. The person who is catering the request of citizen can ask some questions to verify the customer and handle his/her query accordingly. The support center staff can also guide the customer in case of any missing information and take the updated information from the citizen to keep the data updated.
