Reception committee consisting of 178 members representing various trade union and mass organizations; eminent personalities from different walks of society with Dr. Surya Kanta Misra, leader of the Opposition in West Bengal Assembly, as chairperson, Rabin Deb as working chairman, Sumahan Chakraborty as general secretary and Sisir Saha as treasurer for 23rd FMRAIs conference in its golden jubilee year was formed in presence of large number of WBMSRU members on 18 June at Birendra Mancha, Kolkata. Leaders of various trade unions, mass organizations, distinguished personalities form different sphere of the society attended the meeting. Former MP Malini Bhattacharya, AITUC leader Suhash Haldar, Samir Bhattacharjee of 12 July Committee, leader of sales executive association, Ashis Bagchi; FMRAIs president R Viswanathan, general secretary D. P. Dubey, WBMSRU president Rabin Deb, its general secretary Sumahan Chakraborty, among others, spoke on this occasion. Eminent doctors, leaders of AIDWA and DYFI were also present in the meeting. The official logo of 23rd FMRAIs conference in its golden jubilee year was released by FMRAIs president, R. Dharna at Nagpur

141 members from Ratlam, Mandasaur and Neemuch attended 22 nd annual general body meeting of MPMSRUs Ratlam unit on 13 May. State general secretary Shailendra Sharma and treasurer Anurag Saxena addressed the participants. Secretarys and treasurers reports were adopted unanimously after discussion and replies. The meeting elected Ashwini Sharma as president, G. S. Rawat as vice president, Manish Dixit as secretary, Utsav Dubey and Mithun Solaki as joint secretaries and Pankaj Mehta as treasurer and 8 committee members. 100 members of MPMSRUs Jabalpur unit participated in the unit conference at Shri Radha hotel on 3 June inaugurated by CITUs district secretary G N Kumar who hailed the role of MPMSRU and FMRAI and stressed the need of developing united workers movement. TNMSRAs foundation day was observed by its Salem unit in a special meeting on 8 May attended by 90 members. On this occasion, CITUs district secretary Uday Kumar distributed unions photo ID card.

35 members of Bengaluru donated blood in the camp organized jointly with Jayadeva Institute of Cardiovascular Sciences on 17 June during flag receiving ceremony. Former general secretary of KSM&SRA Vajendra Kulkarni received the flag while Gram Panchayat Employees Union president Maruti Manpade inaugurated the programme. Jayadeva Hospitals Blood Bank chief Dr.Uma greeted the members and KSM&SRAs general secretary A Jayaganesh guided the programme. Workshop on Council & Related Movement at Delhi
In order to develop uniform understanding based on common features of each group with emphasis on council networking and expansion of council, 240 all India council committee members of 36 councils, in two days separately, participated workshop on council and related movements at BTR Bhawan, Delhi on 6 and 8 May. Following the workshop, some of the councils hold their all India meetings on the following days. On both the days, A. K. Banerjee, all India council sub-committee convener placed the note on which leaders of each council contributed and shared their experiences. The first day workshop was concluded by FMRAI secretary Santanu Chatterjee and the worksop of 8 May was concluded by president R. Viswanathan. Nine councils, participated the workshop on 6 May, where charter of demands are pending since long suggested to pursue legally and to resort to one day strike in future in pursuance of their pending charter of demands. On 6 May, the all India committee members of 18 councils namely Alembic, Alkem, Micro, IPCA, Indoco- Warren, Intas, AFD, ICPA, Himalaya, Macleods, JBCPL,
