AGREEMENT

THIS AGREEMENT made on this 05th day of May 2012 at Jabalpur between Mr Hemank Chauhan son of Mr Ramesh Chauhan aged about 25 years residing at 41, Gwarighat Road, Gorakhpur, Jabalpur hereinafter referred to as Selected Candidate (which expression is deemed to include his heirs, executors, administrators) on the First Part and Allahabad Bank, a body Corporate, constituted under Banking Companies (Acquisition and Transfer of Undertakings) Act, 1970 having its Head Office at 2, Netaji Subhash Road, Kolkata-1, hereinafter referred to as the Bank (which expression is deemed to include the successors and assigns) on the Second Part. WHEREAS the bank has selected Mr Hemank Chauhan for the post of Marketing Officer, JMG Scale I, and agrees to employ him on the terms and conditions which are more particularly described in the Letter of Appointment, a copy whereof is annexed to these Presents as Annexure I which is forming part of this agreement. AND WHEREAS one of the conditions of appointment required the Selected Candidate to execute an agreement and furnish a Bond with one Surety.

AND WHEREAS in consideration of the Bank employing Mr Hemank Chauhan to the post of Marketing Officer JMG Scale I, said Selected Candidate hereby agrees with the Bank as follows: 1. That the Selected Candidate shall render service to the Bank for a minimum period of three years from the date of joining the Bank and shall not leave the services of the Bank during the said stipulated period of 03(Three) years. 2. That the Selected Candidate shall promptly obey and abide by all times and in all respects the order and the instructions of superiors and faithfully observe and abide with all the rules and regulations of the Bank.
3. That the selected Candidate and his Surety Mr Ramesh Chauhan son of Late Shri

Kanji Bhai Chauhan residing at 41, Gwarighat Road, Gorakhpur Jabalpur shall jointly and severally shall be liable to pay a sum of Rs 100000/- (Rupees One lacs only) in case the said Selected Candidate leaves the service of the Bank before completion of the said period of 03 (Three) years. 4. That the Selected Candidate shall, before reporting for duty, furnish in a prescribed proforma a Surety Bond (on a non-judicial stamp paper of requisite value), duly executed by him and Mr Ramesh Chauhan who is Surety with satisfactory and adequate means, for an amount of Rs. 100000/- (Rupees One lacs only) for securing the successful discharge of the said Selected Candidates liability under this agreement.

5. That in the event of insolvency, lunacy or death of the said surety, the said Selected Candidate undertakes to intimate the Bank of any such event within 15 days of its occurrence and to cause execution of a fresh Surety Bond as may be necessary. 6. That it is further agreed and declared that the liability of the Surety under this agreement shall become void and all his obligations shall stand discharged in the event of said Selected Candidate completing the said stipulated period of service (three[03] years) as agreed herein or upon making such payment as provided in this agreement.
